Located in Bedford, VA, the PRS Recovery Academy Day Program provides a nurturing and structured environment that empowers individuals on their journey to recovery. Our comprehensive psycho-educational curriculum is designed to facilitate engaging community involvement through work, volunteering, and education. We focus on holistic health and psychological education, offering classes on essential skills such as Anger Management, Anxiety Management, Coping Skills, Job Preparedness, Nutrition, and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP). By fostering practical strategies and emotional resilience, we help clients thrive as they identify themselves as students in recovery. Our flexible program operates 3-5 hours a day, 3-5 days a week, ensuring that everyone can access these vital resources, supported by the HOPE Fund for those who may not have access to Medicaid or public funding.
