Diana Bermudez, Licensed Professional Counselor and PhD, is dedicated to enhancing the emotional wellbeing of young children (babies to 8 years old), along with their families and teachers. Her approach focuses on nurturing coping skills in children and improving family relationships and educational environments to prevent and reduce behavioral challenges. Diana employs a rich blend of therapeutic techniques including art therapy, play therapy, yoga, and mindfulness to actively engage family members of all ages. In addition to family psychotherapy and parent coaching, she champions the professional development of early childhood education specialists, empowering them to foster social-emotional growth and effectively navigate behavior challenges. As a certified trainer/coach of the Pyramid Model, Diana brings invaluable insights into the social and emotional foundations of early learning. Bilingual in Spanish, she possesses a deep understanding of the complexities involved in raising multicultural and special needs children. With a PhD in Counseling and a Master’s in Art Therapy from the George Washington University, Diana is also trained in play therapy through distinguished institutes, and holds certification in Radiant Child Yoga.
