Melissa Hamilton is a pre-licensed professional with a master's degree and a passion for helping individuals navigate their struggles with body image and self-worth. She understands the challenges her clients face, whether it's disordered eating, distorted self-image, or feelings of inadequacy. Melissa’s mission is to guide her clients towards liberation from negative thought patterns, fostering self-acceptance along the way. Embracing a holistic approach, she believes in the inherent capacity within everyone to heal, though recognizes that no one should have to do it alone. Currently pursuing certification as an eating disorders specialist (CEDS), she supports individuals grappling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and body image concerns. Additionally, Melissa specializes in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) for trauma and addresses a broad spectrum of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, and more. She welcomes clients from all backgrounds and is committed to walking alongside them on their journey to healing, blending both faith-based and non faith-based counseling in her practice.
