The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Willard, UT, is dedicated to nurturing advocates and educators for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. This transformative program offers aspiring Fellows a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on learning without tuition barriers, promoting accessibility to all. Throughout the Fellowship, participants gain valuable insights into organic food systems and work with community partners to cultivate and distribute diverse crops on market-style farms. Fellows also implement innovative educational sessions in healthcare, maintain local gardens, and enhance food literacy within schools. By supporting farmers markets and fostering direct-to-consumer sales, they create sustainable pathways to improve access to nutritious foods. With a six-month experiential residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus followed by a Community Action Year, selected Fellows apply their knowledge alongside regional non-profits. Applications for this impactful experience are open until March each year, with sessions running from May to October.
