The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Washington, UT is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders who will champion a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program empowers Fellows through comprehensive organic food system education and hands-on experiences at the Allegheny Farm Campus. We strive to make this transformative opportunity accessible by eliminating tuition fees, allowing individuals from diverse backgrounds to participate fully. Throughout the six-month experiential learning phase, Fellows engage in community projects such as growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining gardens, implementing innovative health education, and supporting local farmers markets. Following their training, they embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with regional non-profits to apply their skills and enrich food access in their communities. Applications are welcomed until March of each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
