The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Spanish Fork, UT, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates for a food system rooted in social, environmental, and economic justice. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm, selected Fellows engage in organic food system education and empower local communities. Participants work on innovative projects that include growing a diverse range of crops, implementing health education programs, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food literacy in schools. This immersive six-month fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year where Fellows apply their skills with regional non-profits, ensuring increased access to healthy foods and support for local food initiatives. By eliminating tuition fees, we make our fellowship accessible to all passionate individuals who want to drive meaningful change in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience spanning from May to October.
