Santaquin, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Santaquin, UT, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through immersive training, we empower our Fellows with the knowledge and skills necessary to teach and promote practices that are socially, environmentally, and economically just. Participants enjoy a unique opportunity to engage in organic food system education, work collaboratively on diversified crop farms, and implement innovative health education through community partnerships. Our initiative emphasizes accessibility by offering the program at no tuition cost, enabling more individuals to gain the benefits of hands-on experience. Over six months, selected Fellows reside at our farm, where they grow as leaders—mentoring others, supporting local farmers markets, and integrating food and ecological literacy into community initiatives. Following this intensive experience, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, applying their training with local non-profits to enhance access to healthy food options throughout the region. Applications are accepted annually, with a deadline in March for the program running from May to October.
