The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Sandy, UT, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. By sponsoring and training motivated individuals, we empower our Fellows to become effective educators and champions of social, environmental, and economic justice in food systems across the region. Our program offers comprehensive organic food systems education and practical experience, where successful candidates engage in hands-on learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus. In addition to fostering skills in diversified crop production and community gardening, our Fellows lead innovative educational sessions, support farmer's markets, and establish distribution channels to enhance access to nutritious food. As part of our commitment to accessibility, we offer this Fellowship tuition-free, ensuring all individuals can partake in this transformative experience. Our program spans six months of intensive training followed by a Community Action Year, allowing Fellows to apply their knowledge through partnerships with local non-profits to make real-world impacts in food assistance and community health initiatives. Applications are accepted until March for the fellowship that runs from May to October, and we encourage passionate individuals to join us in reshaping the future of food systems.
