Salina, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Salina, UT, seeks to empower the next generation of leaders committed to creating a just and sustainable food system. We sponsor and train dedicated Fellows who become passionate advocates for social, environmental, and economic equity within the food sector. Our comprehensive program offers invaluable organic food system education, allowing participants to engage in hands-on experiences such as growing and distributing diverse crops on market-style farms, organizing community gardens, and integrating food and ecological literacy into school curriculums. Additionally, Fellows support local farmers markets and initiatives aimed at increasing access to healthy foods while fostering collaboration with regional non-profits through a Community Action Year. This immersive fellowship is designed to be accessible, as we do not charge tuition, and applications are accepted until March each year for our summer program that typically runs from May to October.
