The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Saint George, UT, nurtures future leaders dedicated to creating a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. By providing comprehensive training and support, we empower our Fellows to serve as educators and advocates within their communities. Our program focuses on hands-on, organic food system education, enabling participants to engage in diverse projects such as operating market-style farms, leading educational workshops, and maintaining community gardens. Fellows also support local farmers markets and work to enhance access to healthy food through innovative distribution channels. Over a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, and throughout their Community Action Year with regional non-profits, our Fellows cultivate the skills necessary to foster meaningful change in the food landscape. We are committed to making our fellowship accessible with no tuition fees, ensuring that all passionate individuals can contribute to advancing food justice. Applications are accepted until March, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
