Utilizing a broad array of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Richard adeptly addresses trauma, PTSD, and addiction issues, along with disorders affecting children and adolescents. As a life-long resident of Utah, his educational accomplishments include an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix and a certificate in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina.
