Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Allegheny Mountain Institute (AMI)
Richmond, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Richmond, UT, is dedicated to equipping passionate individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to advocate for a just and sustainable food system. Through immersive training at the Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, selected Fellows engage in hands-on organic food system education, working alongside community partners to grow and distribute diverse crops, maintain gardens, and enhance food literacy in schools. With no tuition required, our Fellowship promotes inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that all participants can contribute to vital initiatives such as supporting farmers markets and improving access to healthy foods. Over a six-month experiential learning phase, followed by a Community Action Year, Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits, actively making a lasting impact in their communities. We invite you to apply by March for an enriching experience that runs from May to October, as together we build a more equitable food future.
