The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Price, UT is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. By offering a tuition-free program, we make the Fellowship accessible to all aspiring leaders. Selected Fellows engage in a transformative six-month experiential learning journey at the Allegheny Farm, where they gain hands-on education in organic food systems. Our program empowers participants to grow and distribute diverse crops, launch educational initiatives on innovative healthcare, maintain community gardens, foster food literacy in schools, and support local farmers markets and direct-to-consumer sales. After the immersive experience, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to implement their training and make a tangible impact. Applications are accepted until March, with the Fellowship experience commencing from May to October.
