The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Parowan, UT, is dedicated to empowering passionate individuals to become leaders and advocates for a just food system that benefits all. Our program offers invaluable organic food system education without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Over a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm, participants gain hands-on training that equips them to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health education sessions, and maintain community gardens. Graduates also play a crucial role in promoting food and ecological literacy in schools, supporting farmers' markets, and developing channels for greater access to healthy food options. After this intensive training, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to make a real impact in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with experiences taking place from May to October.
