The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in North Salt Lake, UT, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders in the sustainable food movement by sponsoring and training passionate individuals as advocates for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Our Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for selected participants to engage in immersive, hands-on education at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they will learn about organic farming, food justice, and ecological literacy. Participants will have the chance to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health care education, manage community gardens, and support local farmers markets, enhancing access to healthy food. The Fellowship, which does not charge tuition to ensure greater accessibility, culminates in a Community Action Year where Fellows apply their skills in partnership with regional non-profits. Interested applicants should complete their applications by March each year, with the experience typically running from May to October.
