Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Allegheny Mountain Institute (AMI)
Monroe, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Monroe, UT, cultivates a new generation of advocates and educators dedicated to creating a food system that is equitable, sustainable, and beneficial for all. Through hands-on training and experiential learning at the beautiful Allegheny Farm Campus, our Fellows engage in a six-month program that equips them with organic food system education and practical skills. They actively participate in diverse community initiatives, such as cultivating local crops, facilitating health education sessions, managing community gardens, and enhancing food literacy within schools. Our commitment to accessibility means that there is no tuition, allowing more individuals to join us in strengthening community food systems and promoting healthy food access. Following this immersive experience, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year to implement their knowledge and support local nonprofits in driving impactful change. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October, inviting passionate individuals to join us in this critical work.
