Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Allegheny Mountain Institute (AMI)
Mendon, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Mendon, UT is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders committed to fostering a food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. Through a comprehensive, hands-on program, we empower Fellows with organic food system education, enabling them to become advocates and educators in their communities. Our Fellowship fosters real-world experience by allowing participants to collaborate with local partners to grow and distribute diversified crops, implement innovative health care educational programs, maintain school and community gardens, and support farmers markets while enhancing food access for all. Over the course of six months at our immersive Allegheny Farm Campus, and through the following Community Action Year, selected Fellows will gain vital skills and work alongside regional non-profits to make a meaningful impact. We prioritize accessibility by not charging tuition for this transformative experience, ensuring that passion for food advocacy is within reach for every aspirant. Applications are welcomed until March each year, with the Fellowship running from May to October.
