Manti, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Manti, UT, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food systems. This transformative program empowers Fellows through comprehensive training that promotes a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Participants engage in hands-on learning at the scenic Allegheny Farm, absorbing organic food system education without tuition fees to ensure accessibility for all. By integrating food and ecological literacy into educational programs and supporting local farmers markets, our Fellows enhance community access to nutritious food. Following their time at the farm, they embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to make a tangible difference. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience taking place from May to October.
