Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Allegheny Mountain Institute (AMI)
Logan, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Logan, UT is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates and educators in sustainable and equitable food systems. Our program offers invaluable organic food system education, empowering Fellows to engage with community partners in initiatives such as diversified crop production on market-style farms, educational health sessions, and the upkeep of school and community gardens. By focusing on food and ecological literacy, we help integrate these essential topics into school curriculums while supporting farmers markets and direct-to-consumer food distribution. Our Fellows undergo a transformative six-month experiential learning journey at our campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with local non-profit organizations to apply their training. We aim to promote accessibility by not charging tuition, ensuring that passionate individuals can join us in making a meaningful impact in the food system. Applications are welcomed each year by March, with experiences running from May to October.
