The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Hooper, UT, is dedicated to nurturing advocates for a sustainable and just food system. By sponsoring and training passionate individuals, we empower our Fellows to engage in organic food system education that fosters social, environmental, and economic equity. Our program is designed to be accessible, with no tuition fees, allowing Fellows to gain hands-on experience in various initiatives such as growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing health education, maintaining community gardens, enhancing food literacy in schools, supporting farmers markets, and developing channels that boost access to nutritious foods. Each selected Fellow embarks on a transformative six-month residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with regional non-profits to put their knowledge into action. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the experience typically spanning from May to October.
