Hildale, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hildale, UT, empowers individuals to become passionate advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Our program offers a tuition-free educational opportunity that focuses on organic farming, food equity, and community engagement. Fellows engage in hands-on learning, collaborating on diverse initiatives such as growing diversified crops on market-style farms, leading educational workshops, maintaining school and community gardens, and promoting food literacy in local activities. By supporting farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs, Fellows work to increase access to healthy foods and strengthen community food networks. The six-month experiential Farm and Food Study culminates in a Community Action Year, where participants apply their knowledge in partnership with regional non-profits, driving meaningful change in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
