Fillmore, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Fillmore, UT, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for food systems that are equitable, sustainable, and just. Through a comprehensive six-month residential experience at our Fellowship farm, participants gain hands-on education in organic food systems, learning vital skills that they can apply in their communities. Our Fellows work on diverse projects such as growing and distributing crops, maintaining community and school gardens, and integrating food literacy into educational programs. Additionally, they support farmers' markets and develop strategies for improving access to healthy foods, all while fostering collaboration with non-profit organizations. We believe in making this transformative experience accessible, which is why we do not charge tuition for the Fellowship, ensuring that anyone passionate about food equity can participate. Applications are accepted each year until March, with the Fellowship typically running from May to October.
