The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Farmington, UT, is dedicated to empowering individuals to champion a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This transformative program sponsors and trains Fellows at the Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, providing a tuition-free opportunity to promote accessibility and community engagement. Throughout the six-month experiential residency, Fellows receive organic food system education and collaborate with local partners to grow diversified crops, operate community gardens, and facilitate educational sessions on food and ecological literacy. Their journey culminates in a Community Action Year, where they apply their knowledge alongside regional non-profits to enhance access to healthy foods, support farmers markets, and mentor future leaders in the field.
