Ephraim, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Ephraim, UT, is dedicated to nurturing leaders who advocate for a just and sustainable food system. Our fellowship offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through a six-month immersive program at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn about organic food systems, food justice, and community engagement without the burden of tuition. Fellows are empowered to grow and distribute diversified crops, implement innovative health education programs, maintain community gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy in educational settings. Additionally, they actively support farmers markets and develop distribution channels that enhance access to healthy food within their communities. Through a subsequent Community Action Year, fellows apply their training in collaboration with regional non-profits, fostering connections that strengthen local food systems and inspire the next generation of food advocates. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the experience typically running from May through October.
