Eden, UT US
At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Eden, UT, we are dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food systems. Our transformative program invites passionate individuals to engage in a six-month, hands-on learning experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they are trained to become advocates for a just, eco-friendly, and economically viable food system. We believe that education should be accessible to all, which is why we do not charge tuition. Fellows partake in vital initiatives including growing and distributing diverse organic crops, implementing health-focused educational sessions, maintaining community gardens, and promoting food literacy throughout local schools. Beyond the Fellowship, participants enter a Community Action Year to apply their skills in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations, ensuring that the impact of our program resonates deeply within the community. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October, inviting a new wave of change-makers committed to enhancing food access and sustainability.
