The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Castle Dale, UT, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. This transformative program provides comprehensive training to empower Fellows as educators and advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Through a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in organic food system education and actively participate in initiatives such as diversified crop production, community garden management, and direct-to-consumer food distribution. With no tuition fees, we promote accessibility and inclusivity in food system education, fostering vital connections between Fellows and regional non-profits during their Community Action Year. Together, we are working to enhance food literacy, support local farmers markets, and increase access to healthy foods within our communities.
