Brigham City, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Brigham City, UT, is dedicated to cultivating future leaders who are passionate about creating a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program sponsors, trains, and empowers participants through hands-on education in organic farming and sustainable food practices. We believe in accessibility, which is why we do not charge tuition for our Fellowship. Over the course of six months, selected Fellows engage in experiential learning at our farm campus, gaining vital skills in growing and distributing diversified crops, implementing educational programs for innovative health care, and integrating food literacy into community initiatives. Following their training, Fellows participate in a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to ensure increased access to healthy foods through farmers markets and community food coalitions. The application deadline is in March for experiences running from May to October, inviting individuals to join us in transforming local food systems in a meaningful way.
