Alpine, UT US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Alpine, UT, is dedicated to cultivating leaders committed to a just and sustainable food system. Through a tuition-free program, we sponsor, train, and empower Fellows to advocate for social, environmental, and economic equity in food systems. Our Fellowship offers comprehensive organic food system education and hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus in Highland County, VA. During their six-month experiential study, Fellows engage in diverse activities such as growing and distributing crops on a market-style farm, maintaining community gardens, and integrating food literacy into educational initiatives. Following their training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, applying their knowledge in collaboration with regional nonprofits. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March of the application year for an enriching journey from May to October, where they will help support local food access and advocate for healthier communities.
