Carisa Silvesan

Carisa Silvesan, an LPC intern with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, brings a wealth of experience in addressing complex emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual abuse and assault, crisis pregnancy, narcissistic abuse, and pregnancy loss. She believes that although these experiences can feel overwhelming, therapy provides an excellent platform for individuals to identify key issues and themes, set meaningful goals, and acquire essential coping skills to facilitate personal growth. Carisa finds great joy in witnessing her clients thrive as they progress toward their aspirations.

Drawing from person-centered theory and reality therapy, Carisa values creativity in her therapeutic practice, allowing her to tailor individualized treatment plans for each unique client. Her counseling room is designed to be a safe and nonjudgmental space, where clients can feel at home and open up about their experiences. Inspired by the heartfelt stories she has encountered, Carisa is dedicated to providing genuine support and empowering her clients through the often challenging journey of self-discovery. She encourages positive growth that comes from navigating and embracing challenges, fostering an environment of trust and understanding throughout the therapeutic process.
