Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Based in Tyler, TX, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of food advocates and educators committed to creating a just and sustainable food system. Our program provides in-depth training and hands-on experience in organic food systems, enabling Fellows to engage in diverse activities such as growing and distributing crops, supporting community gardens, and promoting food and ecological literacy within local schools. By integrating educational sessions into innovative healthcare initiatives and assisting with farmers markets, our Fellows play a vital role in enhancing access to healthy food options. The Fellowship is tuition-free, ensuring that anyone passionate about food justice can participate. Over a six-month immersive experience at Allegheny Farm, coupled with a Community Action Year working alongside regional non-profits, our Fellows emerge as empowered leaders ready to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
