Dr. Tyler Skidmore is a dedicated licensed professional counselor (LPC-S) who excels in cultivating a comfortable, relaxed, and confidential environment for his clients. Understanding that the journey towards counseling can feel daunting, he prioritizes easing the initial process to foster strong therapeutic relationships and support personal goals. Recognizing the uniqueness of each individual, family, or marriage, Tyler customizes his therapeutic approach to best meet the diverse needs of his clients. With a PhD from Texas A&M University – Commerce and a Master of Arts from Dallas Theological Seminary, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his practice. In addition to his academic achievements, which also include a Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma Baptist University, Tyler has been actively working in private practice since 2011 in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. His rich background includes service as a former enlisted United States Marine and Naval Staff Officer. Tyler specializes in a range of counseling issues affecting couples, adults, and adolescents, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Attachment Disorders, Marriage & Pre-Marital Therapy, Anxiety, and Depression. He is committed to helping his clients navigate their emotional landscapes and achieve meaningful growth.
