Bright Star Counseling

Bright Star Counseling is led by a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy obtained from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007. Growing up in Sulphur Springs, Bright understands the challenges that life can present, including grief, anxiety, and feelings of being lost. Many individuals seek relief through conversations with friends, self-help books, and other avenues, often finding that these paths do not lead to the desired sense of fulfillment. The focus of therapy can sometimes be on immediate issues, such as stress and depression, or on uncovering patterns that may hinder growth. Bright specializes in assisting individuals experiencing women's issues, codependency, and trauma, among others. They are dedicated to creating a transformative therapeutic experience through culturally sensitive techniques, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method. Bright's goal is to guide clients toward happier, more fulfilling lives and relationships, drawing on extensive experience in areas like Infidelity Recovery, Trauma Grief & Loss, and Postpartum Anxiety/Depression. By fostering a non-judgmental and empathetic environment, Bright empowers clients to explore new paths and regain control over their lives.
