Nicky Evans, LPC Associate, MS, NCC, believes that every individual has a distinctive perspective on life, and at times, everyone needs a little assistance in discovering a shared language to connect with others. Recognized for her empathy and authenticity, Nicky dedicates her efforts to helping clients identify what is beneficial for them while guiding them to release what no longer serves their journey toward their aspirations. Her counseling style emphasizes the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship infused with unconditional positive regard and encouragement. Nicky specializes in play therapy and activity therapy for children and adolescents while also providing guidance to adults and families. With extensive experience in various treatment modalities, including Trauma-Focused CBT, TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Nicky holds a firm belief that every client, regardless of age, can achieve balance and wellness by recognizing their individual lifestyle and refining ineffective strategies.
