Dr. Marcey Mettica is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Prosper Counseling, PLLC, with two locations. Her experience spans a diverse range of settings, including agencies, family clinics, universities, courts, hospitals, and private practices, allowing her to effectively support children, teens, adults, couples, and families dealing with various challenges. With her Doctorate in Family Studies from Texas Woman's University and a Master's in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, Dr. Mettica holds several impressive credentials: she is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, and a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. With a focus on women's issues and parenting concerns, she believes that reaching out for help during difficult times demonstrates remarkable strength. Dr. Mettica is passionate about guiding individuals and families toward meaningful change, aiming to create lasting improvements in their lives. After 32 years of marriage and raising three wonderful children, she understands the importance of family and relationships.
