Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Port Arthur, TX, offers a transformative opportunity for individuals passionate about building a fair and sustainable food system. This six-month experiential program is designed to empower Fellows as educators and advocates for food justice, providing comprehensive training in organic agriculture and community engagement without any tuition fees to enhance accessibility. Participants will collaborate with regional non-profit organizations to implement diverse initiatives such as growing and distributing crops sustainably, maintaining community gardens, and leading educational workshops focused on food and ecological literacy. Through hands-on experiences and mentoring, Fellows will gain the essential tools to influence community food systems, enhance access to healthy food, and actively support local farmers markets.
