Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Pearland, TX, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. Through our comprehensive training program, participants gain hands-on experience in organic agriculture, community engagement, and food justice initiatives. Our Fellows engage in meaningful projects such as growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing educational sessions in innovative healthcare, and enhancing food literacy in school settings. By supporting farmers markets and developing local distribution channels, we strive to increase access to healthy foods for all. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility to our fellowship, ensuring that aspiring leaders can focus on impactful community work without financial barriers. Selected individuals embark on a transformative six-month residency at our farm in Highland County, VA, followed by a year dedicated to community action in collaboration with regional non-profits. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience scheduled from May to October.
