Trey Russell

Trey Russell, LCSW, understands that life presents challenges for individuals of all ages, from teens to elders. At New Focus Counseling Center, Trey is dedicated to assisting clients who face difficulties stemming from life events or underlying mental health issues such as depression, trauma and PTSD, and anxiety. Clients may struggle with various aspects of day-to-day living, including marital issues or workplace stress, and may also find themselves contending with substance use or other behaviors that create obstacles. With a comprehensive repertoire of therapy types including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Trauma-Focused therapy, EMDR, and Person-Centered approaches, Trey is equipped to guide individuals, couples, and families towards their goals. The team at New Focus Counseling Center actively seeks to understand the root causes of the challenges faced by clients, working collaboratively to resolve past traumas and reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. They believe that no one should navigate life alone and are committed to supporting clients in crafting actionable plans to overcome obstacles and build a brighter future.
