Amanda Arriola, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, RPT, AAC), has dedicated herself to supporting children and families since 2011, utilizing her extensive experience as a public school teacher and counselor. With a deep-seated passion for working with children and adolescents, she specializes in addressing school issues and life transitions for clients ranging from toddlers to teens. Amanda incorporates expressive arts, play therapy, and animal-assisted interventions, fostering an environment where children can safely process their feelings. She believes in the innate strengths and abilities of each client, facilitating their journey toward therapeutic goals through individualized care. As a Registered Play Therapist, Amanda employs a variety of tools, including toys, art, games, and activities, enabling children to express emotions, enhance social skills, and build self-confidence. Additionally, her expertise in Canine Assisted Therapy, in partnership with her professional therapy dog Cleo, incorporates the gentle presence of animals to further enrich the therapeutic experience.
