Amy Dean is a compassionate and dedicated licensed marriage and family therapist at Lake Conroe Counseling Center, where she specializes in providing individual and family therapy in Montgomery, TX. A graduate of Pepperdine University, she has extensive experience working with a diverse array of clients in both California and Texas. Her areas of expertise encompass family therapy, child therapy, grief and loss, culture shock, and support for Third Culture Kids (TCK) as well as issues related to repatriation. Amy enriches her therapeutic practice with valuable insights gained from 19 years of living in South America and Asia, where she raised her son as a global nomad. Drawing from her personal journey, she possesses a deep understanding of the challenges faced by expats returning home. Amy’s therapeutic approach includes a blend of culturally sensitive modalities such as play therapy, art therapy, and family systems, all aimed at helping clients discover their strengths and navigate personal life challenges.
