The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Mission, TX, empowers passionate individuals to become advocates for a food system that promotes social, environmental, and economic justice. This hands-on program offers training without any tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Fellows engage deeply with organic food system education, learning to grow and distribute diverse crops on market-style farms, manage community gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy into educational settings. Through collaborative efforts with regional non-profit organizations, selected Fellows will participate in a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they put their knowledge into practice. We are dedicated to building healthier food systems and supporting future generations of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice initiatives.
