Oscar Melendez Hernandez

Mr. Oscar Melendez Hernandez is a compassionate and bilingual clinician, specializing in providing affirming and holistic psychotherapy to clients beginning at age 3 and upwards. As a pre-licensed professional in the field of psychology, he is dedicated to addressing various mental health concerns, including assertiveness communication, emotional regulation, depression, anxiety, trauma, and personality disorders. His expertise extends to individual, couples, and family counseling, making him well-equipped to support a diverse array of clients. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Mr. Melendez also focuses on the unique needs of sex and gender diversity populations. With a commitment to serving prejudiced and disadvantaged groups, his psychoanalytic ethical approach, combined with an affirming style and humanistic model, empowers clients who have experienced discrimination or face other mental health challenges to achieve a greater sense of well-being.
