Family Resource Center (FRC) Hidalgo

Located in McAllen, Texas, the Family Resource Center (FRC) Hidalgo is dedicated to supporting parents and caregivers of children from prenatal to five years old living in Hidalgo County. Our mission is to empower families by providing essential services, including a food pantry to ensure basic nutritional needs are met, a diaper pantry, and access to basic necessity items. We offer a safe space for short-term counseling and resource navigation, alongside educational opportunities through parent-centered workshops and events. Families can also benefit from developmental screenings and legal consultations, all designed to nurture both children and their caregivers in a warm, welcoming environment.
