The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Magnolia, TX empowers aspiring advocates and educators through comprehensive training in sustainable food systems. Our mission is to cultivate a socially, environmentally, and economically just food landscape by providing hands-on education and mentorship at our Farm Campus. We believe in accessibility, which is why we do not charge tuition for our program. Over the course of six months of immersive, experiential learning, Fellows engage in initiatives such as growing and distributing diversified crops, conducting educational sessions in innovative healthcare, and maintaining community gardens. Our approach integrates food and ecological literacy into school programs and strengthens local food networks by supporting farmers markets and enhancing access to healthy foods. Following their time on the farm, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, where they apply their skills in collaboration with local non-profit organizations to further promote food assistance and community wellness. Applications are accepted until March each year, and the fellowship experience typically runs from May to October.
