Family Support

Based in Lubbock, TX, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to uplifting individuals and families affected by Prader-Willi syndrome through compassionate and comprehensive support. Our Family Support team is a reliable source of accurate information, providing essential resources right from the moment of diagnosis. We offer a variety of vital services, including parent mentoring, nutritional education, meal planning, and behavior management support. Additionally, we assist families in navigating the complex application and appeal processes for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). Families can easily access our support programs via the local PWSA chapter or by joining one of our Facebook Support Groups for community connection and guidance.
