MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Lewisville, TX, through tailored weight management and health promotion strategies. Each year, we focus on screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, connecting them with vital resources to support their weight loss journeys. Our approach includes a variety of services designed to meet the unique needs and preferences of Veterans, such as group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician check-ins. For those who prefer self-guided management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options for Veterans who may need further assistance after engaging with MOVE!.
