Ashley Loeffel, a Licensed Professional Counselor (MA, LPC), is dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey towards enhanced mental health. She understands that life can often feel overwhelming and challenging. With extensive experience providing counseling in diverse settings, including an eating disorder clinic, a residential treatment center for adolescents in the foster care system, a treatment center for adults battling substance use disorder, and a center aiding survivors of torture, Ashley is deeply passionate about empowering individuals and families to overcome their hurdles. She utilizes a strengths-based approach and teaches healthy coping mechanisms that foster resilience. Believing in the significance of cultivating a safe and trustworthy environment, Ashley prioritizes the therapeutic relationship in her sessions, ensuring a blend of humor and empathetic listening to aid in healing. With her expertise in trauma and PTSD, family conflict, and eating disorders, she employs various therapy types, including Compassion Focused, Culturally Sensitive, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and more, tailored to meet the unique needs of preteens, teens, and adults.
