Terri Hipps

Terri Hipps, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years of experience, is dedicated to working with a diverse range of clients, including children aged 6-10, adolescents, adults, and families. She believes in the inherent strengths of every individual and their potential for growth and change. As a therapist, Terri creates a safe and collaborative environment where clients can achieve their therapeutic goals. Her expertise spans various issues such as depression, communication challenges, self-esteem, anxiety, stress, and trauma. She utilizes a positive psychology framework alongside techniques from experiential therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to help clients navigate their struggles effectively. At New Beginnings Youth and Family Services, she collaborates with two other compassionate therapists, providing high-quality, dedicated care. Terri and her team also offer therapeutic groups, parenting classes, and life skills training, all aimed at empowering clients toward successful outcomes and self-determination.
