Senior Box Program

The Senior Box Program in Huntsville, TX, is dedicated to supporting income-eligible seniors aged 60 and over by providing urgently needed food assistance through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) managed by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Each month, this essential program delivers nutritious meal boxes to over 11,000 seniors in the Houston area, ensuring that our elderly community members have access to healthy food options. To participate, seniors can visit Bethel's Heavenly Hands to inquire about signing up for Senior Box Day, where they will need to provide basic information about their age, income, and residency without the need for extensive documentation. While we strive to serve all who qualify, please be aware that there may be a waiting list if we reach our monthly capacity.
