Laney Knowlton

Laney Knowlton is a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT-S, CSAT, CPTT, CCPS, IAT) specializing in helping clients navigate through significant challenges including infidelity, trauma, and sexual addiction. With a profound respect for her clients’ individuality, Laney believes that each person holds the keys to their own unique solutions. She fosters a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where individuals can truly explore and understand the issues they face. Laney offers valuable tools that empower her clients as she works collaboratively with them in their therapeutic journey. Her expertise spans individual, group, and couples counseling, with a focused specialization in betrayal and love/sex addictions. Having led groups for both sex/love addicts and betrayed partners, as well as couples workshops, Laney has cultivated an inviting atmosphere for healing and growth. Originally from Massachusetts, she has lived in various states, including New York, Washington, Idaho, Rhode Island, and currently Texas, where she and her husband, married since 1997, reside with their six children—five daughters and a son. Laney’s commitment to her clients is reflected in her warm energy and genuine desire to facilitate their healing process.
