Africa Logan, a licensed professional counselor (MA, LPC), believes that self-discovery is essential for a fulfilling life. She is dedicated to helping her clients lead more authentic and satisfying lives. Her primary goal is to assist individuals in gaining self-awareness, enhancing communication skills, and adopting effective strategies for coping with life's stressors. Furthermore, she promotes healthy relationships with oneself and others. Utilizing an eclectic approach to counseling, Africa combines her professional experiences and intensive training to facilitate healing and wellness. Committed to providing a safe and nonjudgmental environment, she aids clients in identifying unhelpful thinking styles and behavior patterns, striving for a more balanced life. With a diverse background working with a range of populations— including teens, senior adults, and military service members— she addresses various issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, life transition challenges, low self-esteem/image, and grief/loss. Together, clients and Africa explore and develop strategies aimed at creating a sense of balance and peace in their lives. Taking the first step towards change is often the hardest; however, with Africa's guidance, individuals are encouraged to continue their journey.
